Third baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr blasted 2 homeruns as the dominant Texas
Flood clobbered the outmatched Dallas Gibsons, 12 to 1.
Guerrero Jr was spectacular at the plate. The hometown fans showed their
appreciation with a standing ovation his last time at bat. He lofted a
solo-blast 'downtown' in the 1st inning and electrified the crowd with a
Grand Slam home run in the 4th inning. Texas kept the pressure on throughout
the contest as they scored in 6 different innings.
Hunter Brown(6-2) got the win allowing 1 run in 8 innings. Ryne Nelson(6-6)
absorbed the loss. He was knocked around by Texas, allowing 7 hits and 4
walks in 3 innings.
Wth the win Texas now has a record of a division leading 47-21. Dallas has a
