28,057 fans watched an exciting game at Burbank Park. The Borculo Bumble Bees
topped the Burbank Tigers by the slimmest of margins, 2 to 1.
Burbank never recovered after Borculo took the lead in the 2nd inning scoring
a single run using 2 hits. Giancarlo Stanton drew a walk. Matt Olson came
next and he doubled. After an out was recorded, Freddy Fermin then slapped a
base-hit scoring the run. Burbank had a chance to come back in the 9th but
they came up short.
The win went to Tyler Rogers(3-1) who allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings.
Rogers was helped out by Edwin Uceta who recorded his 1st save. Walker
Buehler(3-4) was tagged with the loss. He surrendered 5 hits and 5 walks in
5 innings.
