Third baseman Eugenio Suarez knocked 2 homeruns as the Gotham Gold Gloves beat
the Dyersville Jurassics by a score of 7 to 5.
Gotham came through with the game-winning runs in the bottom of the 8th inning
when they scored 4 runs on 4 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by
Joc Pederson who brought a roar from the partisan Edsel Stadium fans when he
clubbed a three-run home run. Gotham won despite being out-hit by Dyersville
12 hits to 8.
Raisel Iglesias(1-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3
innings. Josh Hader preserved the game for Iglesias, recording his his 2nd
save. Carlos Estevez(3-1) was the loser in relief.
