Mitch Spence delivered 6 solid innings as the Chicago Whales bested the
Palatine Cubs 4 to 1 at Kauffman Stadium.
Spence(2-5) was in control of the game from the outset. He surrendered only 3
hits and no walks in 6 innings. Chicago had 10 hits for the night.
Spence got relief help from Griffin Jax who gained credit for his 7th save.
The loss was charged to Mackenzie Gore(1-9). Wth the win Chicago now has a
record of 29-26. Palatine has a record of 18-37, worst in the division after
the loss.
