Kyle Higashioka slammed 2 homeruns and Landon Knack went 3 strong innings as
the New York The Yanks topped the ice-cold Hollywood Marines by a score of 7
to 4 at Comerica Park.
Higashioka was really in 'the zone'. He popped a two-run clout over the fence
in the 2nd inning and blasted a Grand Slam homerun in the 3rd inning. Tanner
Houck(7-2) got relief help from Knack who was excellent in relief and gained
credit for his 5th save.
Mitchell Parker(1-4) was tagged with the loss. He allowed 5 hits and 3 walks
in 2 and 1/3 innings.
