The Gotham Gold Gloves plated 4 runs in the 7th inning and nipped the
Tombstone Huckleberries 5 to 4 at Edsel Stadium in a hard fought
contest.
Calvin Faucher(1-0) contributed a very nice performance in relief. He didn't
allow much, just 2 hits and no walks in 2 innings and recorded 4 strikeouts.
Raisel Iglesias came throught with a perfect ninth inning to earn his 4th
save.
The loss was charged to Jhoan Duran(0-2) in relief. He pitched 2/3 of an
inning allowing 1 hit and 3 walks. With this win, Gotham has a 10-14 record.
They have been 5-5 lately. With the loss, the Tombstone ballclub's record is
9-15.
