Michael Massey ripped 2 homeruns as the Gotham Gold Gloves defeated the
Burbank Tigers by the score of 9 to 7 at Burbank Park.
Massey was in a groove all evening. The Burbank fans hated to see him
approaching the batter's box. He lined a one-base hit in the 2nd inning,
blasted a two-run home run in the 4th inning and launched a Grand Slam
homerun in the 6th inning. Gotham had 13 hits for the night.
The win went to Michael Lorenzen(1-1) who allowed 7 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings.
Ryan Yarbrough recorded the save, his 1st. Ryan Feltner(0-1) ended up with
the loss. He allowed Gotham 6 runs in 5 and 1/3 innings of work.
'It wasn't my best outing, but I'll take the win' Lorenzen said.
