Chas McCormick blasted a homerun and Kodai Senga didn't allow a hit until the
6th inning as the amazing Palatine Cubs defeated the Dublin Pubcrawlers 2 to
1 at Poets Field.
Senga(12-9) was very good in the win. He allowed only 4 hits and 2 walks in 8
innings. The right-handed Senga lost a no-hitter when Starling Marte singled
with nobody out in the 6th inning. The game was a scoreless duel until the
7th inning.
Brusdar Graterol preserved the game for Senga, recording his his 21st save.
Carlos Rodon(1-10) was hit with the loss. He struck out 10 batters in 7
innings despite losing the game.
