Right fielder Stone Garrett hit a homerun and had 2 RBI at Englefield Green
where the Columbus Crowd beat the Woodfield Roadkyll 8 to 6.
Woodfield never recovered after Columbus took the lead in the 3rd inning when
they scored 3 runs on 3 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by
Garrett who quieted the crowd when he lifted one out of the park for a two
run home run. Columbus banged out 13 hits on the night.
The win was credited to Tarik Skubal(5-4) who went 5 innings allowing 4 runs.
Devin Williams earned his 29th save. Alex Faedo(5-2) was the losing pitcher.
'I didn't have my best stuff but sometimes you just get lucky,' Skubal said,
'this was one of those times.'
