Catcher Freddy Fermin homered and had 2 RBI at The Heffadrome as the seemingly
unstoppable Holland Heffalumps beat the Hollywood Marines in 10 innings 3 to
2.
The score was tied at 2 after nine. Finally, Holland prevailed in the 10th
inning. After an out was recorded, Francisco Lindor delivered a one-base
hit. Fermin was next and he stroked a single giving Holland the victory and
sending the 47,858 home-town fans home happy. Both teams ended up with 7
hits on the night.
Abner Uribe(3-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.
