In a game for the baseball purist, Dustin May(5-1) and Freddy Peralta(6-10)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, Gotham Gold Gloves finally emerged
victorious over Columbus Crowd, 3 to 1.
Gotham tallied 2 runs in the 4th inning. After two outs Jake Burger initiated
the scoring when he lofted a solo-blast 'downtown'. Eddie Rosario next to
the plate and he hit a bases-empty home run. May got help from Adrian Houser
who pitched a perfect ninth and was credited with his 3rd save.
