In a two run game the Hollywood Marines got by the dreadful Burbank Tigers in
10 innings by the score of 8 to 6.
Both teams were tied at 6 runs apiece after nine innings. Hollywood won the
hard fought contest in the 10th inning. Austin Riley keyed the rally when he
drew a walk. Pete Alonso followed and he drew a walk to load the bases.
Seiya Suzuki then drew a walk knocking in a run. Pablo Reyes came up and he
hit a sacrifice fly scoring the final run of the inning. Hollywood ended up
with 11 hits for the game while Burbank had 8.
The win was credited to Brooks Raley(3-1) who went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing
no runs. Lucas Giolito(3-7) absorbed the loss. He was touched for 3 homeruns
in his 10 innings of work.
Hollywood remained hot, improving their record to a division leading 83-58.
