In a game for the baseball purist, Trevor Williams(5-12) and Dylan Cease(3-9)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, Dublin Pubcrawlers finally emerged
victorious over hopeless Oakland Athletics, 1 to 0.
Dublin scored what proved to be the only run of the contest in the 2nd inning.
That early scoring was all that Williams needed. Ryan Helsley came throught
with a perfect ninth inning to earn his 12th save.
Wth the win Dublin now has a record of 49-91. Oakland has a record of 57-83,
worst in the division after the loss.
