The Chicago Whales toppled the Gotham Gold Gloves by a 6 to 2 score at West
Side Park.
Wade Miley(8-6) contributed a pedestrian performance to earn the win. He
allowed 6 hits and no walks in 5 innings. Gotham was out-hit by Chicago, 12
hits to 9.
Miley got relief help from Mike Baumann who gained credit for his 1st save.
Patrick Sandoval(6-6) took the loss. He got hammered, allowing 10 hits and 4
walks in 6 and 1/3 innings.
The winning ways continue for Chicago. They now have a record of 8-2 in
recent days. Mike Wilson was unhappy with his club's recent performance.
'We can't keep losing games' he said. 'It gets to be embarrassing after a
while.'
