Hollywood Marines beat the Holland Heffalumps in 10 innings by the count of
10 to 9.
The game was deadlocked at 8 after nine full innings. Hollywood came out the
victor in the 10th inning. Seiya Suzuki began the Hollywood spurt when he
doubled bringing in a run. After an out was recorded, Bryson Stott came up
and he delivered a one-base hit giving Hollywood the victory and sending the
48,634 home-town fans home happy. The score went back-and-forth with the
lead changing 5 times.
The win was credited to Will Vest(1-1) who went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing 1
run. Abner Uribe(2-2) was given the loss in relief. By surrending 2 runs in
2/3 of an inning his ERA jumped from 3.75 to 4.26.
Hollywood remained hot, improving their record to a division leading 77-57.
