The pathetic Dublin Pubcrawlers endured an embarrassing pasting as a potent
Palatine Cubs lineup tallied 8 runs while Pablo Lopez(15-7)with help from the
bullpen constrained Dublin.
Palatine went ahead for good in the bottom of the 3rd inning scoring 2 runs
utilizing 3 base hits. Keibert Ruiz led off and got things going when he
doubled. One out later, Anthony Volpe came to the plate and hit a sacrifice
fly bringing in a run. Nolan Gorman then delivered a single, and an error
was also committed. Nathaniel Lowe was up next and he stroked a single
scoring the final run of the inning. That was all the runs Lopez needed.
For the game Palatine out-hit Dublin 11 to 4.
Shane Bieber(6-5) absorbed the loss. He gave up 8 hits and 2 walks in 7
