The New York The Yanks edged the Streator Reds at Streator Park by the score
of 4 to 3.
New York wasted no time and took the lead in the first inning scoring 3
runners on 4 hits. Streator had a chance to come back in the 9th but they
came up short.
The win was credited to Bryce Elder(6-10) who went 7 innings allowing 1 run.
Ryan Thompson preserved the game for Elder, recording his his 1st save.
Chris Sale(0-2) was charged with the loss.
