Jose Siri smacked 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at The O.K. Corral as the Vernon
Hillbillies lost a heartbreaker to amazing Tombstone Huckleberries by the
score of 4 to 1.
Tombstone scored the decisive runs in a big 9th inning scoring 3 runs
utilizing 2 base hits. Mitch Garver led off and he hit a single. After an
out was recorded, Zach Neto came up and he drew a walk. Siri then lost the
ball over the fence for three runs giving Tombstone the victory and sending
the 55,123 home-town fans home happy. Tombstone managed only 6 hits on the
night.
Alexis Diaz(6-5) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the win. Tyler Holton(2-3)
was the losing pitcher in relief. He pitched 1 and 1/3 innings and
