Right fielder Nick Castellanos cracked a homer and had 2 RBI at Comerica Park
where the Hollywood Marines beat the Holland Heffalumps in 10 innings by the
score of 4 to 3.
The game was deadlocked at 3 after nine full innings. Hollywood was victorious
in the 10th inning. Dansby Swanson drew a walk. Adley Rutschman next to the
plate and he smacked a single resulting in an exciting win for Hollywood and
a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans. Holland had 12 hits in
the game while Hollywood had 9, but Hollywood had the more timely hits.
Jeff Hoffman(6-1) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the victory. The
losing pitcher was Hoby Milner(3-2) in relief. He surrendered 1 run and 1
