What an evening for the Caracas Leones! They shellacked the floundering Dublin
Pubcrawlers pitching for 13 runs while Kevin Gausman(11-9), with relief help
from Nate Pearson, surrendered 2 runs to Dublin.
Xander Bogaerts had a big day with his bat. He belted a three-run homer in
the 1st inning, doubled in the 6th inning and laced a single in the 7th
inning. Overall Caracas out-hit Dublin 18 to 8.
Gausman got relief help from Pearson who gained credit for his 3rd save.
Trevor Williams(2-11) absorbed the loss. He pitched 1 and 1/3 innings
allowing 6 hits and 1 walk.
