Sonny Gray racked up an impressive total of 10 strikeouts as the Caracas
Leones staged a dramatic comeback over the Dublin Pubcrawlers by a score of
10 to 7 at Poets Field.
Caracas had the game winning rally in the 9th inning as they scored 5 runs on
4 base hits. The big moment was provided by Bryce Harper who quieted the
home crowd when he laced a base-hit plating two runs. Caracas totaled 10
hits on the night.
Colin Rea(6-1) got the win allowing 1 run in 1 and 1/3 innings. Will Smith
earned his 8th save. Ryan Helsley(0-4) was charged with the loss in relief.
'The only way this one could have been better', said Rea, 'was if we had
played it at home.'
