The Holland Heffalumps nipped the Palatine Cubs 7 to 6 at The Heffadrome in a
hard fought contest.
Ranger Suarez(6-1) had a steady outing. He went 5 and 1/3 innings
surrendering 6 hits and 4 walks. Suarez chalked up 8 strikeouts and
surrendered 2 homeruns. Palatine had a chance in the 9th but they came up
short.
Suarez was helped out by Erik Swanson who recorded his 1st save. Pablo
Lopez(10-7) absorbed the loss. He surrendered 7 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings
and saw his ERA increase from 4.05 to 4.35.
