In a close game it was the Jamaica Smoke 8, the Chicago Whales 6 at Lawton
Stadium.
Bryan Reynolds provided much of the offense. He cracked a two-run shot in the
6th inning and tripled bringing in two baserunners in the 7th inning.
Chicago had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.
The win was credited to Hunter Brown(4-13) who went 6 innings allowing 4 runs.
Joe Jimenez(2-1) was tagged with the loss in relief. He pitched 1 inning
allowing 2 hits and no walks.
'Fundamentals, fundamentals, fundamentals' said Rich Domovic after the game.
'We lost this game tonight because we didn't follow the instructions every
Little Leaguer hears every day.'
