Designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton slammed a homerun and had 4 RBI as the
Holland Heffalumps beat the New York The Yanks by a score of 8 to 3.
The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Stanton. He doubled plating two runs in the 1st inning, hit a
bases-empty home run in the 3rd inning and stroked a base-hit scoring a run
in the 6th inning. Holland had 9 hits overall, while New York had 2.
The win was credited to Elvis Peguero(4-0) who went 1 and 2/3 innings allowing
no runs. Corbin Burnes(6-7) was the losing pitcher. He was knocked around by
