Gray(7-6) pitched one of his finer games as he simply was too much for the
Dublin batters. He was stingy on the mound, allowing just 1 hit and no walks
in 7 innings seeing his ERA drop from 3.77 to 3.51. Caracas banged out 8
hits on the night.
Gray got help from Kenley Jansen who was credited with his 2nd save. Trevor
Williams(1-8) suffered the loss. Gray was jubilant in the hometown
clubhouse, 'It was a lot of fun out there. The fans gave me a lot of support
as did my teammates. We got the victory and I'll sure take 10 strikeouts
anytime!'
