The Columbus Crowd edged the Hollywood Marines at Comerica Park by the score
of 3 to 2.
Columbus scored the deciding run in the top of the 8th inning. After an out
was recorded, Stone Garrett drew a walk. After another out, Ramon Urias came
up and he was walked intentionally. Reese McGuire then stroked a single
scoring the run. Columbus had 8 hits for the game and Hollywood had 5.
Jason Foley(3-1) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings.
Foley got relief help from Devin Williams who gained credit for his 20th
save. Trevor Stephan(3-2) was tagged with the loss in relief.
Wth the win Columbus now has a record of 48-34. With an impressive recent
record of 8-2, Hollywood hopes this will only be an isolated loss - followed
by another nice run.
