Ronald Acuna slammed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Sean Manaea had a strong
outing at Edsel Stadium as the Gotham Gold Gloves beat the Burbank Tigers by
the count of 11 to 4.
Acuna enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He cleared the fences for a
two-run home run in the 4th inning and smashed a solo-shot out of the park in
the 6th inning. Gotham out-hit Burbank for the game, 16 hits to 7.
The victory was credited to Jack Flaherty(3-3) who went 5 innings, allowing 4
runs. Patrick Corbin(1-9) was charged with the loss. He surrendered 7 runs
and 11 hits in 7 innings.
