defeated the Oakland Athletics 9 to 6 at Edsel Stadium.
Jack Flaherty(2-3) was solid if not spectacular. He allowed 7 hits and 7
walks in 6 and 2/3 innings. Flaherty whiffed an impressive total of 8
Oakland batters. Gotham totaled 10 hits on the night.
