Xzavion Curry delivered 5 solid innings as the Gotham Gold Gloves defeated the
Streator Reds 2 to 1 at Streator Park.
Streator was unable to climb back into it after Gotham went ahead for good in
the top of the 4th inning scoring one runner on 2 base hits. Streator tried
unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.
The win went to Curry(2-3) who allowed no runs in 5 innings. Curry got help
from Sean Manaea who earned his 2nd save. The losing pitcher was Taj
Bradley(3-7). He surrendered 6 hits and 3 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings.
