New York The Yanks defeated the Holland Heffalumps by a score of 6 to 4 at
Lateralus Parabola.
New York scored 4 runs in the decisive bottom of the 6th inning with the help
of 3 hits. It was enough scoring to earn the victory. Holland made it
exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across.
Corbin Burnes(2-6) went 6 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory. Keynan
Middleton earned his 2nd save. The loss was charged to Scott Barlow(0-1) in
relief.
Jim Calabrese was in a talkative mood in the clubhouse, 'Great game! If only
we could win all of the close ones - wouldn't that be nice! Since that's not
going to happen, I think I'll savor this one for a little while.'
