Marcell Ozuna had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the Palatine Cubs defeated the Dallas
Gibsons by a score of 12 to 8 at Kauffman Stadium.
Ozuna enjoyed a fine evening at the plate. He singled in the 1st inning,
ripped a base-hit in the 3rd inning, doubled scoring a run in the 5th inning
and lifted one out of the park for a two run home run in the 6th inning.
Palatine kept the scorekeepers busy in the 5th inning which saw them plate 5
runs on 6 hits. Dallas was out-hit by Palatine, 21 hits to 12.
Joel Payamps(2-1) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the win. Brock Burke(0-3)
was hit with the loss in relief. He allowed Palatine 4 runs in 2 innings of
work.
