solid innings as the Tampico Stogies defeated the Gotham Gold Gloves by the
score of 8 to 4 at Edsel Stadium.
Garrett(6-5) gave Tampico a solid outing. He didn't allow much, just 2 hits
and 2 walks in 7 innings lowering his ERA from 4.63 to 4.26. Tampico had
many opportunities throughout the game and scored in 6 separate innings.
Jack Flaherty(1-3) ended up with the loss. He allowed a few too many
baserunners giving up 11 hits and 2 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
