Michael King went 5 solid innings as the Dublin Pubcrawlers bested the Burbank
Tigers 1 to 0 at Poets Field.
The winning run, and the only run, was scored by Dublin in the 5th inning.
Carlos Correa laced a base-knock. One out later, Jose Caballero was next to
bat, but he was a strikeout victim. Christian Bethancourt then laced a
base-hit. Connor Joe came up and he drew a walk to load the bases. Masataka
Yoshida came up to bat and drew a walk scoring the run. Wandy Peralta was
perfect in the ninth giving him his 2nd save on the season.
King(2-2) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 5 innings. Bryce
Elder(2-5) ended up with the loss. He surrendered 1 run and 4 hits in 6
