In a dramatic ending the Holland Heffalumps staged a comeback and held on to
win over the Dublin Pubcrawlers by the count of 4 to 3.
Holland scored the winning runs in the 9th inning with 2 runs. Mookie Betts
started the inning off right when he drew a walk. Garrett Cooper got his
turn next, but he was a strikeout victim. Matt Olson then blasted a two-run
home run. Holland had just 6 hits for the night.
The win was credited to Sam Moll(2-1) who went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no
runs. The loss was charged to Ryan Helsley(0-2) in relief. His ERA increased
from 3.00 to 6.75 as he allowed 2 runs in 1 inning.
'The only way this one could have been better', said Moll, 'was if we had
played it at home.'
