Chris Bassitt went 8 solid innings at The O.K. Corral as the Tombstone
Huckleberries beat the Columbus Crowd 4 to 2.
Tombstone scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning. Zach Neto started
the inning off right when he drew a walk. After an out was recorded, Paul
Goldschmidt came to bat and doubled plating a run. Yordan Alvarez then laced
a base-hit scoring the final run of the inning. Tombstone finished with 7
hits in the victory.
The win was credited to Bassitt(3-1) who went 8 innings allowing 2 runs. David
Bednar earned the save, his 14th. Edward Cabrera(1-3) was charged with the
loss.
