The Tampico Stogies edged the Columbus Crowd at The Horseshoe by the score of
5 to 4.
Columbus was unable to claim the lead after Tampico went ahead in the top of
the 4th inning plating an isolated run. The Columbus batters went down
meekly in the bottom of the 9th.
James Paxton(3-4) got the win allowing 4 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings. Joe Kelly
recorded his 2nd save. Tarik Skubal(3-3) was the losing pitcher. He
surrendered 5 runs and 5 hits in 6 innings.
