The Columbus Crowd edged the Tampico Stogies at The Horseshoe by the score of
2 to 1.
The game was won by Columbus with a run in the 8th inning. Freddy Fermin
smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly'. Tampico had a chance in the 9th but they
came up short.
Ryan Borucki(1-0) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the victory. Devin
Williams preserved the game for Borucki, recording his his 8th save.
Reynaldo Lopez(0-1) was given the loss in relief. He gave up 2 hits and no
walks in 1 and 2/3 innings.
