Third baseman J.D. Davis smashed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Dublin
Pubcrawlers topped the Jamaica Smoke by a score of 9 to 2 at Lawton
Stadium.
Davis was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors. He smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' in
the 2nd inning and launched a three-run homer in the 8th inning. Dublin had
16 hits for the game and Jamaica had 11.
The win went to Jose Quintana(1-1) who allowed 2 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings.
Austin Gomber(0-3) absorbed the loss. He got hammered, allowing 11 hits and
3 walks in 5 and 1/3 innings.
