First baseman Anthony Rizzo hit 2 doubles and had 3 RBI at The O.K. Corral
where the Dyersville Jurassics beat the Tombstone Huckleberries in 10 innings
by the score of 3 to 2.
The game was deadlocked at 1 after nine full innings. Dyersville won it in
the 10th inning. Edman proceeded to steal third base. One out later, Maikel
Garcia got his chance to keep things going, but he went down on strikes.
Willy Adames then drew a walk. Rizzo stepped in and he doubled driving in
two more baserunners. Neither team was able to score until the 6th inning.
The winning pitcher was Carlos Estevez(1-1) who allowed 1 run in 1 and 1/3
innings. Alexis Diaz(1-5) ended up with the loss in relief. He surrendered 2
runs and 1 hit in 2 innings.
