In a two run game the Vernon Hillbillies got by the Burbank Tigers by the

Vernon scored the winning runs in the top of the 8th inning scoring 2 runs
utilizing 2 base hits. After an out was recorded, Ozzie Albies got things
rolling when he doubled. Justin Turner stepped up next and he blasted a
two-run home run. Both teams totaled 7 hits on the night.
Freddy Peralta(1-2) allowed 2 runs in 7 innings, and picked up the victory.
Tanner Scott recorded the save, his 5th. Chris Murphy(4-2) ended up with the
loss in relief.
