The Columbus Crowd pitchers essentially took the day off at West Side Park as
the Chicago Whales offense erupted for 12 runs while Aaron Civale(2-1), with
relief help from Chris Stratton, allowed Columbus 4 runs.
 
The Chicago fans enjoyed the offense provided by Kyle Tucker.  He smacked a
three-run homer in the 3rd inning, ripped a single plating a run in the 4th
inning and laced a base-hit in the 6th inning.  Chicago had 18 hits for the
night while Columbus had 8.  
 
Stratton gained credit for his 1st save. Justin Steele(0-2) absorbed the loss.
He got hit pretty hard, allowing 5 hits and 2 walks in 2 and 1/3 innings.
 
Wth the win Chicago now has a record of 9-6.  With this loss, Columbus has a
3-7 record of late, 5-10 overall.
