Ryan Mountcastle rocketed 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Edsel Stadium as the
Tombstone Huckleberries beat the Gotham Gold Gloves by the count of 8 to

Mountcastle provided the offensive punch. He clubbed a solo home run in the
1st inning, lined a single in the 3rd inning, slapped a one-base hit plating
a run in the 4th inning and delivered a solo blast in the 7th inning. The
Gotham batters went down meekly in the bottom of the 9th.
The victory was credited to Chris Bassitt(1-0) who went 7 and 1/3 innings,
allowing 5 runs. Alexis Diaz got the save, his 1st. Sean Manaea(0-1) ended
