Joc Pederson had 2 base hits and 2 RBI at Busch Stadium as the Gotham Gold
Gloves beat the Tampico Stogies in 10 innings by the count of 4 to 2.
The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings. Gotham came out on top
in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Garrett Mitchell kicked off
the action when he drew a walk. Jack Suwinski was a strikeout victim, unable
to help out. Pederson then doubled driving home two runs. Neither team was
able to score until the 6th inning.
The victory was credited to Devin Smeltzer(4-1) who went 2 innings, allowing
no runs. Giovanny Gallegos recorded his 10th save. Camilo Doval(5-3) was the
losing pitcher in relief.
