44,311 fans watched an exciting game at Poets Field. The Dublin Pubcrawlers
topped the floundering Palatine Cubs by the slimmest of margins, 4 to 3.
The game was won by Dublin with a run in the bottom of the 8th inning. C.J.
Cron lofted a solo-blast 'downtown'. Palatine had a chance in the 9th but
they came up short.
Wandy Peralta(5-2) went 2/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the victory.
Peralta got help from Ryan Helsley who earned his 28th save. Aaron
Ashby(0-1) ended up with the loss in relief. Dublin scored big getting 3
runs off him in 2 innings.
