Marcus Semien rocketed 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Chicago Whales bested
the Gotham Gold Gloves 7 to 1 at Edsel Stadium.
Semien was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a fine day
at their team's expense. He cracked a two-run shot in the 4th inning and
cleared the fences for a two-run home run in the 6th inning. Chicago ended
up with 7 hits for the game while Gotham had 4.
Jordan Lyles(3-4) allowed 1 run in 6 innings, and picked up the victory.
Michael Lorenzen(5-7) was the losing pitcher. He served up 3 gopher balls in
5 and 1/3 innings.
