First baseman Triston Casas jacked one out of the ballyard and had 2 RBI at
Truist Park as the Dallas Gibsons won a thriller over the Streator Reds in, 4
to 3.
The game was won by Dallas when they scored a run in the bottom of the 9th
inning. After two were out Matt Vierling drew a walk. Vierling was running
on the next pitch and he stole second. Jake Cronenworth then was walked
intentionally. Jonathan India followed next and he laced a single to load
the bases. Jesus Sanchez came up to bat and ripped a base-knock making
Dallas the winners and sending the 10,373 fans home happy. Dallas banged out
11 hits on the night.
Anthony Bass(4-5) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing
no runs. Ryne Stanek(4-3) was tagged with the loss in relief.
