In a dramatic ending at Truist Park the Dallas Gibsons won in their last
at-bat beating the league door-mat Streator Reds by the count of 7 to 6.
The deciding run was scored by Dallas in the 9th. Triston Casas drew a walk.
Jose Trevino came to the plate and laced a base-hit. Tommy Edman then hit a
single to load the bases. Yan Gomes followed and he hit a sacrifice fly
making Dallas victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd. Dallas
had 13 hits for the game and Streator had 6.
Jose Urena(3-1) was the winner allowing no runs in 5 innings. Bryan Abreu(2-4)
was the losing pitcher in relief. He pitched 1/3 of an inning and
surrendered 2 hits and 1 walk.
