Bryce Harper had 4 hits and 2 RBI and Carlos Rodon racked up an impressive
total of 12 strikeouts as the phenomenal Caracas Leones outscored the
Palatine Cubs in 10 innings 6 to 4.
Both teams were tied at 4 runs apiece after nine innings. Caracas won the
hard fought contest in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Aaron
Judge started the attack as he bombed a two-run dinger. Caracas totaled 10
hits on the night.
Kenley Jansen(3-1) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Carl
Edwards Jr(4-9) took the loss in relief. He surrendered 2 hits and 1 walk in
2 and 1/3 innings.
