Kyle Wright mowed down 11 Burbank batters and Mike Trout homered and had 3 RBI
at Burbank Park where the spectacular Caracas Leones beat the Burbank Tigers
by the score of 7 to 1.
Wright(12-7) was indeed brilliant as he hand-cuffed the Burbank offense. He
gave up just 3 hits and 1 walk in 8 innings. Caracas out-hit Burbank for the
game, 11 hits to 3.
Bryce Elder(4-3) ended up with the loss. He gave up 4 hits and 2 walks in 5
and 1/3 innings. 'I had my good stuff tonight.' Wright said. 'As the game
went along I started to get the feeling that I was going to strike out a
bunch of hitters.'
