Xander Bogaerts hit a homerun and had 3 RBI at Burbank Park as the Caracas
Leones beat the pathetic Burbank Tigers by the count of 7 to 2.
Burbank never recovered after Caracas took the lead in the top of the 2nd
inning scoring 2 runs. After an out was recorded, Trent Grisham kicked off
the action when he drew a walk. One out later, Bogaerts came to the plate
and lifted one out of the park for a two run home run. Caracas had 10 hits
for the night.
Kevin Gausman(11-9) went 5 and 2/3 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory.
Bailey Ober(3-4) was hit with the loss. He allowed 4 runs and 6 hits in 5
